Advocacy

There are several causes close to my heart. It’s not so much a case of me finding them, but them finding me.

Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

I have been part of a group that advocated for the passage of the Philippines’ Renewable Energy Act of 2008. I am also a Trustee of the Center for Clean and Renewable Energy Development.

TEN Moves

TEN Moves aims to raise funds for the construction of 10,000 classrooms all over the Philippines. There are a lot of challenges in our education sector, but how can we address them all if we can’t even provide children with decent and durable environments that are conducive to learning?

To donate, please go to the TEN Moves page.

I’m also sharing a few stories that I wrote in my work to share stories of our amazing volunteers and beneficiary communities.

Pathways to Peace

Habitat for Humanity Philippines

Habitat for Humanity Philippines aims to build decent, durable, and affordable housing for Filipino families in need. Volunteering to build has multifold benefits—you get to bond with friends, you get a workout, and most importantly, you are helping build a home for families in need.

Walk Free

There are still hundreds and thousands of people worldwide that experience modern-day slavery. Walk Free wants to this generation to be the one that puts a stop to it.
